What goes into a good tea break
A tea break (茶會點心) needs food people can eat standing, in one or two bites, without cutlery: mini pastries, sandwiches, canapés, macarons and small cakes. A mix of sweet and savoury keeps it from feeling like dessert only. For a longer afternoon tea, add one or two more substantial items such as salmon rolls or a sandwich tray.
Drop-off or a set-up tea table
For an internal break, drop-off is usually enough: the trays arrive ready and your team puts them out. For a client visit or a reception, setup means we arrange the tea table with serving equipment so it looks finished when guests walk in, then collect later. Table decoration can be added as its own line in the quote.
Good to know
- Pastries and cold bites travel well and do not need hot holding.
- If you need coffee or tea service, mention it in your request; it is confirmed in the proposal.
- Tell us the break time and length, so the food arrives just before it starts.
