What can we arrange for Muslim guests?
- A labelled vegetarian main and sides, which many Muslim guests choose when certified halal meat is not available.
- Seafood and egg dishes, if your guests accept them.
- Name-labelled boxes packed apart from other food.
- Dish labels and separate serving spoons on a buffet.
- A check of each dish with the supplying kitchen for alcohol (including cooking wine and mirin), gelatin and lard.
What do we not claim?
We do not claim halal or kosher certification, and our standard menu is not certified. Halal covers how meat is slaughtered, the absence of alcohol and gelatin, and the kitchen, not only whether a dish contains pork. If you need certified food, say so in your request and the team will tell you honestly whether it can be arranged for your date. We will not call a pork-free dish halal.
Guest count and service level
- 10 to 30 guests: individually labelled boxes, drop-off. The simplest way to give each guest the right meal.
- 30 to 60 guests: a buffet with labelled dishes and a clearly marked vegetarian line. Choose setup so the table is ready and collected after.
- 60 to 100+ guests: staffed service, so one person manages the labelled dishes and the dietary line.
- Send the counts and the answers from your guests with your request.
How to order for a mixed group
- Ask guests in the invitation: is certified halal required, or is vegetarian acceptable?
- Send the counts and exact needs with the date, venue and food-ready time.
- Compare up to three menu options and get the exact quote by email.
- Your event is booked only after the quote is accepted and the menu, kitchen, venue access and payment are confirmed.
